Mr Trump and Mr Kim. It's more than the hair!

Donald Trump said:
"The United States has great strength and patience, but if it is forced to defend itself or its allies, we will have no choice but to totally destroy North Korea."

Dear Donald Trump,
Did you think through that statement? The word ‘regime’ (as you call North Korea) does not imply an abstract thing or a physical lump of land. Have you any conception that threatening to ‘totally destroy  North Korea’ means actually KILLING millions of people? Millions of men, women and children. Not just obliterating a ‘regime’ (whatever you imagine that to be!).
And, what will North Korea’s response be if you set out to do that?
The same as what you have chosen to do to them.
Yes, we know that North Korea is not the happiest place, with starving and imprisoned (even tortured) people because of its leadership, but do you really think destroying the whole country will benefit those starving, tortured, imprisoned north Koreans? Is killing them all the answer?
It is barely believable that you two men who, on the surface have little more than utter poisonous attitudes and strange haircuts in common, can hold the entire world to ransom with ugly threats. To what end? To justify your childish wishes to be ‘top man’? To entirely annihilate civilisation -  to create the end of the world, in other words?
And, guess what, Mr Trump. When the world is blown to smithereens with the help of you and Mr Kim, the outcome will not be you sitting atop an adoring world wearing a gold crown, draped in an American flag, but will most likely be you dead, your family dead and (if there are any) your friends dead.
And your beloved America that you wished to ‘make great again’ will not only not ‘be great’ but will not even be anywhere or anything. Pfft. Pain. Obliteration. A pile of rubble. Nothing.
Think about it.

PS: So good that you are finally taking heed of advisers and are at least pretending to be interested in the devastation caused by recent natural disasters.
